Two senior citizens found dead in Karnataka's Hunsur with heads smashed

MYSURU: Two senior citizens, including a security guard, were found brutally murdered with their heads smashed at a sawmill in Hunsur, about 45km away from Mysuru city.
The murders are said to have occurred late at night on Wednesday.
Superintendent of police Seema Latkar confirmed the murders of two elderly persons in Hunsur town.
Police have stated that the motive behind the murders is not known and an investigation is under way.
Sources claim that Venkatesh (73) and Shanmugha (67), who resided in the sawmill, were found murdered.
Venkatesh worked as a security guard, while Shanmugha performed menial jobs in the mill.
Their heads were discovered smashed, possibly with a blunt object or boulders.
It can be recalled that some time ago, a security guard was murdered in an adjoining sawmill.
