Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Delhivery L(number of shares traded: 1.87 crore), Alok Industries(number of shares traded: 1.37 crore), Brightcom Group(number of shares traded: 1.37 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.13 crore), Indian Info Sof(number of shares traded: 1.11 crore), Mishtann Foods(number of shares traded: 1.04 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 1.03 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 0.83 crore), Trident Ltd(number of shares traded: 0.76 crore) and JP Power(number of shares traded: 0.69 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:56AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 3.15 points up at 18860.0, while BSE Sensex was down 34.9 points at 63488.25 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.44 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.15 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.95 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 0.80 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.78 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.11 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.24 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.84 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.83 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
