A visitation will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church, with a celebration of life directly following.

The boys' father, Chad Doerman, is accused of fatally shooting them at their Monroe Township home June 15. Prosecutors said Doerman had lined up his children and executed them with a rifle. When one of the boys tried to flee, he "hunted" him down, brought him back to the house and killed him, prosecutors said. He appeared in a Clermont County Municipal courtroom for his bond hearing June 17. Bond was set at $20 million.

Who were the Doerman brothers?

Clayton, Hunter, and Chase are remembered for their unconditional love for others and their big hearts, according to the obituary on the Geo. H. Rohde & Son Funeral Home website. They loved to fish, play outside and laugh.

Clayton liked to play with Legos, ride go-carts, tell jokes and sing. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog, Gatlin, and giving gifts to others. His loved ones called him "Clayton Man."

Hunter, who loved ones called "Hunter Dog," often went to the creek to catch frogs and played baseball. He loved baseball so much that he kept the ball and glove close to him as he slept.

Chase enjoyed swings, playing with dinosaurs and pretending to be a superhero. The 3-year-old, known as "Chasers" to loved ones, couldn't wait to play baseball like his older brothers.

A community memorial for the three brothers will be held this weekend. The event will also serve to thank law enforcement and first responders. The New Richmond Youth Sports Association is inviting the community to youth ballfields at 2117 Laurel Lindale Road at 6 p.m. Sunday. Food will be provided by local churches. The organization is asking people to bring memories of the Doerman boys along with a lawn chair. The public will also be able to write messages that will be delivered to the family.

The obituary asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the organization that provided so many happy memories for the Doerman family. Donations will be used to make improvements to Field 4 in their honor. You can donate via Venmo @NRYouthsports and place “Field 4 Dedication” in the memo. Checks can be mailed to New Richmond Youth Sports Association, care of TruCut Construction, 2287 Laurel Nicholsville Road, New Richmond, OH 45157.
