How to respec in Final Fantasy 16

Final Fantasy 16 tells an intriguing story that is overflowing with incredible set-piece moments and lovable characters, but the meat and potatoes of any good action RPG is its combat. Luckily, the newest entry in Square-Enix’s long-running franchise packs quite a versatile and flashy set of abilities to use while fighting main character Clive’s many foes, giving you the opportunity to fine-tune your combat style and ensure you’re prepared for anything the game throws at you. However, it’s perfectly normal to want to change things up sometimes – be it for fun or strategy – meaning you’ll want to make use of Final Fantasy XVI‘s respect option to reset all of your ability points. We’ll fill you in on how to do so below.

How to respec in Final Fantasy 16

Whether you’re wanting to respec to make yourself a bit more viable against a specific enemy or simply curious about some new abilities, respeccing in Final Fantasy XVI is a breeze. While on the Abilities tab in the menu, simply hold down the touchpad to bring up a prompt that will inform you of how many ability points will be refunded so that you know what you’ll have available to spend afterward. Select Yes on this prompt and you’ll be free to begin reassigning all of your points again. If you’d prefer, you can simply reset a single ability by placing your cursor on it and holding down the Square button.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: release date window, trailers, gameplay, and more
Zack carrying Cloud toward Midgar.

We all knew Final Fantasy 7 Remake was just the beginning but had no idea how long we would have to wait for the next part, or even how many parts this incredibly ambitious project would end up spanning. Since fans have been begging Square Enix to remake what is quite possibly the most popular and most important JRPG of all time for years, there was obviously a lot of pressure on them to get it right. While there was plenty of skepticism for the first part changing so much about the core formula, once we had it in our hands, it became almost universally praised.

After Remake, there was next to no news on when Cloud and his ragtag team's adventure would continue. That is, not until the 25th anniversary of the original PlayStation 1 game when Square Enix dropped a ton of info on us all at once. The biggest news was obviously the official reveal of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, the second part in what we now know to be a trilogy of titles. Since then, we've collected all the info drops as they've occurred. After beating the first part, you should know that your knowledge of the original title will only serve you so well going forward, so here's everything we know about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

A hand holding the new Kinetic Boomerang weapon in a Fortnite key art release.

There are plenty of new weapons and items to get your hands on in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3, but the Kinetic Boomerang may be the most unique and satisfying of the bunch. Unlike the past few seasons' Shockwave Hammer and Kinetic Blade items, the Kinetic Boomerang lacks any movement abilities attached to its use, instead offering some fairly solid damage and a thoroughly enjoyable throw-and-return mechanic. If you'd like to check out the Kinetic Boomerang for yourself, take a look below for information about where to find it and how to make the most out of it in battles.
Where to find a Kinetic Boomerang in Fortnite

The Kinetic Boomerang can be found lying on the ground just about anywhere, or you can find it on boomerang stands scattered around the Chapter 4 Season 3 map. While it's an Epic rarity weapon, it's not particularly uncommon, so you shouldn't have too much trouble rounding one up as you explore areas in the battle royale mode. Once you've found one and picked it up, you can simply equip it and prepare for some boomeranging.
How does the Kinetic Boomerang work?
