The 24-year-old joined the Italian giants in 2018 and went on to score nine goals in 68 appearances.

However, after falling out of favour in recent years, Kluivert has spent significant spells on loan with RB Leipzig, Nice and more recently, Valencia where he spent much of the 2022/23 season.

In that time he racked up eight goals in 29 appearances, a decent tally for a side who finished 16th in La Liga.

Kluivert burst onto the scene with Ajax during his formative years and was even linked with a move to Manchester United, an opportunity he turned down in 2018 in favour of a switch to Roma.

The winger won't be the first Kluivert to play in the Premier League, though, with Justin boasting a famous father, Patrick Kluivert.

The Dutch football legend made a career with Ajax, AC Milan and Barcelona before spending a season with Newcastle United in 2005/06.

He scored 13 goals in all competitions before moving on to Valencia after being released by Newcastle the following summer.
