The Minister of Tourism, Morocco, Fatima Ezzahra Ammor, recently introduced the steps that the North African country is adopting to make possible a winning tourist season for this year.
The minister, as part of the steps, stated that for the summers, the National Tourist Office of Morocco secured almost 4.4 million seats with 19 airlines.
The minister stated that with the opening of 23 new lines this summer, 2023 will be a record year in regards to flight programming, catering 8 destinations in Morocco, joined with 9 international markets. The flights will have 19 airlines with a capacity of more than 244,000 seats.
Also, the minister highlighted the contracts signed with foreign online agencies, with the main target of reaching 4.3 million overnight stays in summers.
This one happened besides 50 other collaborations with conventional travel agencies with predictions reaching more than 860,000 customers.
She said that they will carry on consolidating their marketing campaign through the Morocco, Land of Lights promotional effort- on the main foreign export markets. Not to mention the effects of the outstanding impetus that their country is going through at the international level, which will expand all through this year, she said.
The campaign with the title -Morocco, Land of Lights is a promotion from ONMT, targeted at marketing the tourism assets of North African countries, including cultural diversity.
