WASHINGTON—A California man was sentenced Wednesday to more than 12 years in prison after admitting that he assaulted a police officer with a stun gun during the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, in what federal prosecutors have portrayed as one of the most violent actions of the pro-Trump mob that day.
