It's nothing new, these things happen in the TV industry: Zaan Khan on his show Meri Saas Bhoot Hai wrapping up

TV show Meri Saas Bhoot Hai is wrapping up. The show will bid adieu to its viewers in the second week of July. Actor Zaan Khan, who entered the show just a few days ago, is not surprised that it is going off air. He shares how it is a part and parcel of the business.
Zaan says, "I was glad that I got offered a role, which was very different from my previous roles.It was a new love interest for Gaura. If, the show is wrapping up next month, it is obviously disappointing but this is not new. In the TV industry, you never know which show will go off air or wrap up in a few weeks or months. I was told that my character will last for a month, so I was all set to give it my best."
Zaan wants to also focus on films now. He says, "I want to do movies too. On TV, I prefer roles which last for a shorter duration so I can pursue films too."
Zaan has been part of many TV shows like Maitree, Vanshaj and Kyun Uthe Dil Chod Aye. The actor says, "I am glad I have got to do diverse roles in the past few months. My role in Meri Saas Bhoot Hai was lighter and less stressful. I am shooting for it right now. It will be sad if the show wraps up next month. It was a good role and something different from my previous roles."
