Event at Green Park to mark Yoga day

Kanpur: As many as 3,000 persons were expected to participate in the Yoga Utsav to mark the IXth International Yoga Day at Green Park stadium on Wednesday.
According to the district administration, UP Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana will be the chief guest, while mayor Pramila Pandey, chairman Zila Panchayat Kanpur Nagar Swapnil Varun and MPs Devendra Singh Bhole, Satyadeo Pachauri and Ashok Rawat will be the special guests. Besides, Neelima Katiyar, Rahul Bachcha Sonkar, Arun Pathak, Avinash Singh, Abhijeet Sanga, Surendra Maithani, Mahesh Trivedi, Saroj Kureel, Salil Bishnoi and Manvendra Singh will also be present at the venue, said district administration on Tuesday.

The programme was scheduled to commence at 6.15 am with yoga exercises to be conducted for 45 minutes.
Heart fullness Institute will also organise a yoga camp at Lovely Vatika Ratan Lal Nagar at 7am. Well known Yoga teacher Shivangi Dwivedi of Bengalure will train the participants.
