Mys decked up to celebrate Yoga Day
Mysuru: The city is decked up to celebrate International Day of Yoga on Wednesday. The main event will be held in front of the Mysuru Palace and 15,000 yogis are expected to perform yoga.
The Yoga Day celebrations will start at 6am and conclude at 8am. As part of the celebrations, lecturer programme will be held between 6am to 7am and the performance of yoga will start at 7am.
A few yoga enthusiasts will also celebrate the day at Chamundi Vihar Stadium, while special events are planned at various educational institutes. Meanwhile, in Mandya, preparations have been completed for the Yoga Day celebrations at Brindavan Gardens in KRS Dam starting from 7am.
Also, 3,000 students will perform 20 yoga asanas for 45 minutes. Five-minute dhyana (meditation), and four pranayamas will be also performed by the yogis.
