    Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

    NEW DELHI: Shares of Keerti Knowledge, Chaman Metallics, Proventus Agrocom, TPL Plastech and Shriram Finance, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 40.15 points up at 18856.85 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    However, stocks such as Viaz Tyres, Viji Finance, A G Universal, Kore Digital and Sri Adhikari, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

    Overall, 23 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 closed in the red.

    In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, ONGC, HDFC Bank, HDFC and Adani Ports SEZ were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, JSW Steel, M&M, Divis Labs and ITC ended in the red.

    The BSE Sensex closed 195.45 points up at 63523.15.

    Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Petrochemicals, Shipping, Airlines and Logistics sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Real Estate, FMCG, Services and Media & Entertainment sectors during the day.
