BJP MLA abuses MIDC's security guard for secretly recording conversation with cop in Thane

KALYAN: A video of a BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad from Kalyan abusing a security guard of Maharashtra State Industries Development Corporation (MIDC) has gone viral on social media platforms.
It is alleged that the security guard was secretly trying to capture the MLA's conversation with a police officer on camera, due to which the MLA got angry and started abusing him.
Sources said a farmer namely Lahu Vayle from Nevali area located on Dombivli-Badlapur MIDC Pipeline Road, who did not get compensation for the land recently taken by MIDC for the road recently, again took possession of his land on road and started farming on the road.
On Wednesday, the MIDC officials with the police reached the spot to take possession of land.
The farmer informed local MLA Gaikwad about the matter who also reached the spot.
After reaching at spot, Gaikwad asked the MIDC officials to first give compensation to the farmer and then acquire the land.
It is learnt that during this time, Gaikwad was having some personal conversation with a police officer on which an MIDC security guard tried to make a video of him secretly by hiding camera in pocket.
In the viral video, Gaikwad is heard saying that MIDC officials despite his requests several times are not listening to the farmer's grivience to resolve his issue.
