Police arrest two interstate smugglers from Kerala, seize 10 kgs of ganja in Tirupati district

TIRUPATI: Yerpedu police in Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati district, on Wednesday, arrested two interstate smugglers from Kerala and seized 10 kgs of ganja from their possession.
Renigunta deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Bhavya Kishore, said that the duo — identified as Nellikal Mohan and Ravichandran from Kerala — told the police that they had sourced the cannabis from Anakapalli and the agency area in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam.
Police were looking for three more people, identified as Niranjan and Pavan from Anakapalli and Srijith from Kerala, the DSP said.
