The 146th Rath Yatra in Ahmedabad commenced at 7 am on Tuesday from Jagannathji Temple in Ahmedabad amid fanfare and massive police deployment. Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel performed Pahind ritual of cleaning the procession's path symbolically with golden broom as senior ministers were present.
