Google-backed Adda247 Acquires Veeksha

Google-backed Adda247 has acquired Ahmedabad-based 3D experiential learning platform Veeksha for undisclosed amount.

With this acquisition, Adda247 intends to provide interactive learning modules to students in order to provide a more in-depth comprehension of ideas through improved visualisations.

Adda247 aims to enhance its position by partnering with Veeksha to serve K-12 and JEE/NEET aspirants. According to preliminary statistics, the startup has seen a more than 30 per cent increase in engagement for the student cohort that is using 3D, AR, and VR experiential learning technologies.

Veeksha, founded in 2021 by Gaurishankar Singh, Hariprasad Bommidi, and Miral Songhela, combines technology and education to provide 3D educational content, AR/VR learning modules, and other services in different languages. It aspires to establish a system in which individuals may learn in an interesting way through virtual labs, experiential learning, and gamified learning.
