Locals, tourists left stranded post landslide in Sikkim’s Mangan; clearance work underway

Causing destruction in Sikkim’s Mangan, heavy and continuous rainfall led to a landslide on June 15. It left many locals and tourists stranded in the hill station. Work to clear the road is underway. The clearance work is being prioritised as several taxis, trucks and private vehicles are desperately waiting for the path to get clear. The administration also briefed on the situation.
