Rs 23 lakh looted from CSP operator in Araria dist

Miscreants on Monday looted Rs 23 lakh from CSP operator Md Rabbani under Jokihat police station area in Araria district. They also thrashed Rabbani and his brother-in-law for resisting the loot.
Both were admitted to Araria Sadar Hospital.
Sadar SDPO Rampukar Singh said Rabbani was returning home after collecting Rs 10.62 lakh from the SBI main branch and Rs 12.8 lakh from Axis Bank branch at ADB Chowk.
