West Ham are set to reject a second offer from Arsenal for Declan Rice.
The Gunners had an initial bid for the England midfielder turned down by the Hammers last week.
They have now made a revised offer worth an initial £75m with a further £15m in add-ons.
That would smash Arsenal's transfer record by almost £20million, with Nicolas Pepe the north London club's biggest ever signing having joined from Lille in 2019 for £72million.
But talkSPORT understands West Ham will rebuff the latest bid from Arsenal for their captain and are holding out for a significantly higher fee.
West Ham chairman David Sullivan told talkSPORT earlier this month that Rice will be allowed to leave this summer after leading the club to Europa Conference League glory.
But Sullivan knows he can demand a huge fee given the interest in Rice from across Europe.
Premier League champions Manchester City are continuing to weigh up a move for Rice, while Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the 24-year-old.
Arsenal see Rice as a priority signing this summer as they look to mount another title challenge next season and are likely to make another bid closer to £100m.
Mikel Arteta is also chasing a number of other players as he overhauls his squad.
