Lost Titanic Sub Live Updates: Desperate Search For Missing Tourists

Rescuers are racing against time to locate the missing submersible as the crew's oxygen supply is running out.

An increasingly desperate search continued for a five-person submersible as the onboard oxygen supply was likely to run out Thursday morning.

The vessel went missing Sunday morning while ferrying tourists to view the sunken wreckage of the Titanic off the coast of southeast Canada. It was said to have a 96-hour of oxygen supply, which would exhaust the breathable air by approximately 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Eastern, The Associated Press reported, citing the U.S. Coast Guard and Oceangate Expeditions.

Wealthy British adventurer Hamish Harding, and Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman are on board. French Navy veteran Paul-Henry “PH” Nargeolet, who would be driving the vessel, and Stockton Rush, CEO and founder of watercraft operator OceanGate Expeditions, are also among the crew.
