Four held for going fishing in sea

Rajkot: Four fishermen were arrested in Mangrol town of Junagadh for venturing into the sea despite a ban on fishing due to monsoon.
Mangrol Marine police station sources said on the night of June 18, some of their personnel were on patrolling duty near the Sheriyaj Bara coast. On noticing a boat coming near the shore, the cops questioned them before arresting them for violation of public notification. Fishermen have been banned from venturing into the sea from June 1 to August 1 in the wake of the monsoon when the sea remains rough. tnn
