Woman killed in Pratapgarh village over property dispute

Prayagraj: A 45-year-old woman was found murdered outside her house in Devarpatti village of Pratapgarh on Saturday morning, police said. Upon being alerted, a team of Baghrai police along with forensic experts rushed to the spot and carried out investigations. Initial police investigations hinted towards property dispute behind the killing. The body has been sent for postmortem. Police claimed that unidentified killers targeted Rozan Ali when she was sleeping outside her house on a cot. The killers slit her throat. So far police have detained three persons of family for interrogation. When locals came to know about the killing, they demanded police to ensure the arrest of killers as soon as possible. tnn
