Panaji: In the JEE Advanced, 2023, at least 13 students from Goa have secured All-India ranks within the first 10,000 spots, going by the data available till Sunday evening. A Panaji resident, Adeep Kuncolienkar, has bagged the All-India rank of 1,576, the highest in the state so far. Adeep, a student of Cujira’s Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary School, scored 201 out of 360 marks.
The others in India’s higher ranks are Mukund Kakodkar (2,493), Palash Pai Angle (3,893), Shreyas Chavan (4,291), Hemanshini Desai (4,865), and M P Ashish Bhat (5,645). All are students of Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary School.
Estellar Academy’s Higher Secondary School of Excellence announced that its student Warren Tavares has been ranked 4,191st in India. Another student from Estellar Academy, Vikram Chodankar, secured a common-list rank of 19,799.
“Last year, Aashish Zantye scored 199 out of 360 and got an All-India rank of 417. My analysis says both 2022 and 2023 papers had the same level of toughness,” said Vyankatesh Prabhudesai, the director of Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary School. He added, “The cut-off for JEE Advanced in 2023 is high. Even so, our students did very well. We have five students in the first 5,000 All-India ranks and 12 in the first 10,000.”
Other students from the institute to stand within the first 10,000 ranks were Atharva V Naik (6,269), Shikhar Chandra (6,353), Atharva Naik Desai (9,130), Neeraj Naik (9,625), Rudra Pai Dukale (9,726), and Kris Pereira (9,996).
The students were ecstatic with the results. “I am thankful to my parents, and to my teachers at Estellar Academy for always motivating me,” said Warren.
Students of Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary School who stood within the first 20,000 ranks were Manguesh Hebbalkar (15,153), Vijay Mahaldar (15,225), Ishan Bhate (17,034), and Aarav Dwivedi (17,737).
