Three years after the release of Veere Di Wedding, rhea kapoor officially announced The Crew in the month of November. For the big reveal, the project's ideal cast dressed in all-black and appeared on the cover of Vogue India. The movie, according to the producer, would be her most glamorous endeavor to date. Three ladies put forth a lot of effort to achieve in life in the comedy The Crew, which is set against the backdrop of the faltering aviation business. But their routes take them to unexpected places, and they are caught in a web of lies. Rajesh Krishnan is the director, and balaji Motion Pictures and anil kapoor Productions are the co-producers.

In the meantime, kriti sanon attended a special screening of Adipurush in mumbai the day before the movie, which also stars prabhas and Saif ali Khan, was released internationally.
