Fin dept extends OPS deadline till July 15

Jaipur: In a fresh order issued on Saturday, the state’s finance department has extended the deadline for opting for the old pension scheme (OPS) till July 15 for employees of autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies and universities. Earlier, the deadline was June 30.
The state’s finance department had earlier issued an order to implement the OPS for employees of boards, corporations, autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies and universities (set up on or after January 1, 2004).
