BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad hit out at the opposition parties on Sunday and mocked their attempts to cobble together an alliance ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. "Who will be their (opposition) CM face?... There is friction between them. This is an alliance of selfish people for power. Since they can't take on PM Modi alone, they are trying to do it together...India wants a stable government not a bunch of people who keep fighting with each other," he said. On the mega opposition meeting scheduled to be held in Patna on June 23, the senior BJP leader said: “They (Opposition) are fighting amongst themselves as this is an alliance between power-hungry and selfish people. They can meet and have food together, but neither Bihar will be swayed away, nor the country."
