Jaisalmer: Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat expressed dissatisfaction with the functioning of the
Rajasthan government, stating that ministers and MLAs were engaged in power struggles instead of focusing on the welfare of the people.
He called upon BJP workers to highlight the transformative initiatives and policies implemented by the Modi government over the past nine years.
Addressing the gathering during the BJP's Maha Jansampark campaign in Ramdevra on Friday, Shekhawat condemned the Gehlot government as the most corrupt in the state's history. He accused the government of betraying farmers, women, and the youth through false promises, leading to their humiliation. Shekhawat called for teaching the Gehlot government a lesson in the upcoming elections.
Highlighting the BJP's ideology, Shekhawat reiterated the party's commitment to restoring India's former glory and serving the nation through good governance. He praised the Modi government for implementing policies that have brought about significant changes across the country.
The government's focus on the welfare of the poor, exemplified by the opening of bank accounts and direct benefit transfers (DBT), has positively impacted the lives of many.
Responding to Chief Minister Gehlot's remarks on the involvement of MLAs in bribery, Shekhawat questioned Gehlot's knowledge of the monetary transactions. He urged the CM to take appropriate action if he possesses such information.
