Chhattisgarh creating systematic archive for researchers in Raipur

Talking about Mahatma Gandhi’s visit to Chhattisgarh in 1933, Historian KK Aggarwal said that the archives of Mahatma Gandhi from his visit to the state have been kept in Bhopal’s Vallabh Bhawan earlier. Now, a systematic archive is being made in Raipur will benefit researchers in Chhattisgarh. While speaking to ANI, Historian KK Aggarwal said, “All the archives of Mahatma Gandhi, his visit to Chhattisgarh in 1933 and the British period were kept in Vallabh Bhawan, Bhopal. All these were sent to the Culture department in Raipur. We are making a systematic archive in Raipur, which will be beneficial for researchers in Chhattisgarh.”
