In barely two days since its release, Om Raut's highly awaited mythological epic film Adipurush has made an impressive entry into the 200 crore club. The Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan film outperformed expectations at the box office despite backlash and protests.

The prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and saif ali khan film outperformed expectations at the box office despite backlash and protests.

Adipurush made a staggering 140 crore on its first day of release worldwide. The movie allegedly made an extra 65 crore on its second day, increasing its total to above 200 crore, continuing its profitable run. This amazing total was boosted by the hindi version alone, which brought in 37 crore, while the telugu states brought in 26 crore on the second day. At the same time, this BO data is said to be fake and all the trade experts are paid a handsome amount by the Production house to report the movie grossed 200 Crores in 2 days.

The epic Ramayana adaptation Adipurush received some criticism, especially for its speech and visual effects. The conflicting opinions and conflicts, however, had little effect on the movie's box office success. Adipurush features a star-studded ensemble, with prabhas portraying Raghava, kriti sanon as Janaki, and saif ali khan as Ravana. They are joined in this huge cinematic spectacle by sunny singh and Devdatta Nage, who also have important roles to play.
