NOIDA: A district level camp for corrections in the marksheets of students who appeared for Uttar Pradesh board higher secondary and intermediate examination will be organised from June 19 at Rajkiya Inter College, Sector 12.
It will end on June 21 and will be open from 9am to 4pm.
At the camp, students will have to submit applications for corrections such as spelling mistakes in names of candidates, guardians, address or date of birth. Depending upon the type of correction, Aadhaar card, voter ID, birth certificate, parents’ documents will be required.
“Once all the complaints are received, we will then make the corrections and provide corrected marksheets to the students,” officials said.
The correction camps were organised in Ghaziabad between June 12 and 14 and 430 candidates had filed applications for rectifications. Officials said that most applications were to correct the date of birth.
Of the total applications received in Ghaziabad, 226 were from high school students and 204 from intermediate candidates. “Corrected marksheets will likely be issued in July,” Satish Kumar Gurhar, principal of Government Inter College, Ghaziabad, said.

“Board examinations’ marksheets are important documents and the errors remain uncorrected, candidates may face trouble in future,” Gurhar added.
