There is room for trolling in a movie of Adipurush's breadth and endeavour to depict the Ramayan in a modernised manner. Adipurush is currently experiencing the same, which is to be expected. Adipurush is still a lot larger undertaking than anything the tamil film industry can generate, which the tamil people need to be aware of in this situation. Adipurush's mass panic and openings are comparable to a tamil person's unfulfilled aspiration.

Outside of tamil Nadu, tamil films are unable to even cross the border and succeed. All of these fans are enthused about one or two of their favourites who continue to appear in common mass masala films that don't even meet the criteria for pan-Indian branding, much less aspiring pan-Indian hype like Adipurush. Simply put, this is heartburn coming from the tamil people. The most they can do is complain when others do it because they couldn't even imagine a tamil movie being made on this scale. They are now treating Adipurush in this manner.
