The Grand Tour
Prime Video, streaming now Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May continue to bring us the best bits from their Top Gear tenure — especially given Clarkson has since re-ingratiated himself with the viewing public thanks to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and his charming farming show. This time, they head to Central Europe on a road trip nobody has ever thought of (possibly because it crosses a large swathe of the former Soviet Union) in cars nobody would ever dream of. This epic 1,400-mile jaunt takes them from Gdańsk in Poland through Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia. They sample some Soviet-style Formula 1, are besieged by angry archers, recruit a famous racing driver (albeit in wax form) and take part in a spectacular Fast & Furious climax. Expect Jeremy’s impressive girth to work against him (particularly in terms of exiting a situation), Captain Slow to make the most of his drunk purchase, and Hamster to hurtle toward yet another racetrack calamity.

Anyway, Thor returns as Aussie black ops mercenary Tyler Rake, in Netflix’s “summer blockbuster” offering. This is considered impressive given Rake barely survived the events of the first movie.

Farm Rebellion
Disney+, streaming now Benedikt Bösel was an investment banker. Now he’s testing a radical new type of agriculture in the fight against climate change.
