On Saturday as part of his tour to the region, MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao is slated to lay the foundation for the eagerly anticipated Inner Ring Road (IRR) and a contemporary bus station in Warangal. To link the Warangal-Khammam and Hyderabad-Bhopalpatnam national highways, the state government has chosen to build a 13-km IRR.

To link the Warangal-Khammam and Hyderabad-Bhopalpatnam national highways, the state government has chosen to build a 13-km IRR.

The first phase will comprise the construction of an eight-kilometer, 200-meter-wide road that will run from the RTO office/Naidu petrol Bunk on the khammam road via the yard of the Enumamula agricultural market. The project, which is expected to cost 315 crore rupees, will be carried out by the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA). While the 80 acres of land needed for the road construction have already been purchased, the revenue department still needs to secure about 35 acres.

The IRR will provide direct access from the khammam highway to Narsampeta road and Enumamula, according to KUDA Chief Planning Officer (CPO), E Ajit Reddy, who was speaking to "India Herald". This will let people to get to Warangal-Mulugu NH 163. According to mla Nannapuneni Narender, this development will help the east constituency advance and reduce traffic in Warangal.

In addition, the government has approved spending Rs 74.50 crore to build a new, contemporary bus terminal in warangal to replace the outdated one. It will be constructed by KUDA on a three-acre plot using the G 5 model. 32 TSRTC bus platforms will be located on the ground floor, and commercial spaces will be located on the five upper floors. According to Ajit Reddy, the authorities want to finish the ground floor within a year and turn it over to the rtc by May or june of the following year.

During his visit, minister KT Rama Rao will also dedicate 2,200 residences with two bedrooms that cost Rs 106 crore to build in Doopakunta. He would also dedicate the CC and BT roads in the east constituency, which cost Rs 160 crores to construct. In accordance with the GWMC restrictions, he will also set the groundwork for various other development initiatives. On the other side, the industries minister will also lay the groundwork on the same day for the Youngone Corporation unit to be built in the Parkal constituency bounds at Kakatiya Mega Textile Park (KMTP).
