Manipur: 2 civilians injured in fresh clash with security forces, multiple attempts made to torch BJP leaders houses
A mob of around 1000 people gathered to attempt to burn down buildings near a palace compound in state capital Imphal.

The violence situation in Manipur remains unabated. In a fresh clash, 2 civilians were injured. Mob gathered at several place attempting arson including houses and offices of BJP leaders.

Another mob tried to put the house of MLA Biswajeet on fire. However, Manipur Rapid Action Force was successful in dispersing the crowd.
Another crowd surrounded the BJP office post midnight at Sinjemai. The Army dispersed the crowd. Also, automatic gunfire was reported from Kangvai in Churachandpur district and Kwakta in Bishnupur district of the violence hit state.
Another crowd tried to destroy the home of BJP leader Sharda Devi in Imphal during midnight, the security forces managed to diffuse the agitated crowd.
An attempt was also made to loot Iringbam police station in Imphal West. However, no weapons were reported stolen. A mob of 200-300 people tried to ransack the police station at around 11:40 pm but the crowd was scattered by the RAF.
The RAF, Assam Rifles and the Army controlled the situation in Imphal as they tried to stop the rioters from gathering to create a ruckus. RAF fired rubber bullets and tear gas shells to disperse the crowd.
The attempts to dodge buildings (specifically of BJP leaders) into fire, comes just a day after the house of Union Minister RK Ranjan Singh was burned down by a mob of 1200 people with petrol bombs.
The violence between the two communities Kuki and Meitei simmering since May 3 in Manipur, has worsen over the past few days. The property of political leaders are being targeted. Meanwhile, the Central government is putting all efforts to implement a plan for peace between the two communities.

During his India visit, the Sri Lankan President will meet his Indian counterpart President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Delegation level talks will also be held between the two nations.
The economic and political situation of Sri Lanka is moving towards improvement and stability and the tourism of the country has increased post Covid. The economic condition of the island country will take time to improve with International Monetary Fund (IMF) second loan out of a total package of USD 2.9 billion due at the end of the year. As of today, Sri Lanka remains a net debtor country with decreased assets and large liabilities.
The IMF report said, the Sri Lankan liabilities have increase from 51% of the GDP in the year 2017-18 to 74% of the GDP in the 2022. The report said, 85% of external debt liabilities are long term, the government owes 70% of the total external debt liabilities.
A year ago, Sri Lanka witnessed economic crisis, political chaos that led to a huge distrust among the general public. During that period, the Indian government extended USD 3 billion as a part of emergency aid to stabilize the inflation hit Sri Lanka. Apart from India, the country owes multi billion amounts to both China and Japan as well.
As per reports, President Wickremesinghe will visit China in the month of October to attend the belt road initiative and will meet the Chinese President Xi Jinping for the first time after assuming charge as the President of the island nation.
The Sri Lankan government has given their assurance to India that the Hambantota seaport will not be used by the military and is yet to give a response on India’s request to develop the Trincomalee seaport to push economic revival of North Sri Lanka.

Eknath Shinde in Adipurush, tweets man, Thane police reply share your number
A man took to the tweeter and compared Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde with a Lord Hanuman character in the film. Meanwhile, Thane police were quick and took cognizance of the matter and asked the user to DM his number.

Prabhas starrer Adipurush hit the theatres on Friday, ever since its release the film has been on trend all across the internet with fans praising the film, critics sharing their views and more. There are several memes and funny posts related to the film over the internet.
Among the shared memes, one meme surfaced that pulled Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde into the trend out of nowhere.
A user sharing a cryptic post on Twitter compared CM Shinde with the character of Lord Hanuman in the film.
Soon after the post, Mumbai’s Thane police were took cognizance of the matter and asked the user to DM his number.
Initially, Adipurush got postponed due to controversies, alongside Prabhas, the cast includes Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. Fans rushed to the theatres from 4 am to catch the first show and there have been several tweets about the VFX, cinematography, direction.
The film revolves around the re-creation of the story from Sanskrit epic Ramayana portraying Prabhas as Raghav (Lord Rama’s character), bringing back his wife Janaki (Kriti Sanon in the role of Sita) from Lankesh(Saif Ali Khan as Ravana), who kidnapped her.
Film Director Om Raut, in one of his interviews, told he got the inspiration from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make Adipurush. He said he has been extremely attached to the film ever since its inception.
While addressing the gathering, Raut urged producers and distributors to dedicate one seat in every theatre to Lord Hanuman for the film. He said Lord Hanuman appears wherever the Ramayana is recited.

1 dead,174 detained; stone pelting, lathi charge, tear gas, police vehicles blazed, as notice put up for illegal dargah demolition in Junagadh | Video
Junagagh SP Ravi Teja Vasamsetty said, the mosque near Majewadi Gate was given a notice by the Municipal Corporation to present the documents stating the legality of the dargah in the next 5 days.

In a deadly clash erupted in Gujarat’s Junagadh on Friday night, over a notice of demolition of an illegally built dargah, stones were pelted, several police vehicles were blazed by a mob of around 500-600 people, which also led to the killing of 1 person and several policemen including a senior cop was injured.
The police have detained 174 people, associated with the violence.
A video of the incident has surfaced.
When some authorities of Junagadh Municipal Corporation reached the Majewadi Gate of the town to put a notice of demolition outside the mosque, a crowd of 500-600 people gathered around the dargarh to protest against the notice.
The frenzy mob in their protest started pelting stones at the police, caused damage to a police post and also set some of the police vehicles on fire.
It is when the police had to lathi-charge on the angry crowd to bring them down and had to resort to firing of tear gas shells in their retalliation.
In the video, a large number of people can be seen gathered outside the mosque and can be seen creating a ruckus and pelting stones at the the police.
It can also be heard in the video abusive languages being used by the crowd.
Junagagh SP Ravi Teja Vasamsetty said, the mosque near Majewadi Gate was given a notice by the Municipal Corporation to present the documents stating the legality of the dargah in the next 5 days.
He added, around 500-600 people gathered, while the police was trying to persuade to clear the road blockade, at around 10:15 pm, stones were pelted at the police.
SP Vasamsetty further informed, several police personnel were injured and a civilian died, the prima facie investigation said the cause of death to be stone pelting but will be clear once the postmortem report comes and further probe is underway.
The situation currently is under control and in peace.
Another video has surfaced which is reportedly of the same dargah in question, in the video, it can be seen several men are lined up outside a dargah and are brutally being thrashed by two masked men.
