Youth attacked by group of miscreants in Ludhiana's Khanna

LUDHIANA: A youth received multiple injuries after he was badly beaten by a group of unidentified miscreants in Kauri village of Khanna in Ludhiana.
Daljit Singh, brother of the injured youth Sukhbir Singh Sukha of Kauri village, told police that their boy goes to a work place around half a kilometre from the village.
Singh added that as Sukhbir was going to work, the miscreants, armed with iron rods, etc, were standing near the spot.
The victim’s brother said that they beat him brutally and Sukhbir received injuries in the head, arm and leg. He added that Sukhbir’s leg and an arm was broken in the attack.
After the family members of the victim came to know about the incident, they took him to a government hospital in Khanna for treatment.
Meanwhile, police has started process to register a case into the matter.
Local sources said that Sukhbir had an old enmity with some people in village and around March end, there was a fight between two groups and a case was registered into the matter.
