Man held with 295g heroin

Ludhiana: About two weeks after a man, allegedly involved in the triple murder of ex-ASI and his family at Noorpur, fired a gunshot at a house in Talwandi village, the police arrested house owner Balwinder Ram for drug peddling. The police arrested him near the Satluj river with 295g heroin.
Triple murder accsued Prem Chand alias Mithun had gone to Balwinder’s house to get drugs where he was involved in a scuffle as he did not carry cash with him. Thereafter, he fired a gunshot and the bullet had hit the pet dog of Balwinder.
An FIR under NDPS Act has been registered.
