Locals hold stir before HC bldg seeking jobs

Ranchi: A small group of villagers of Adarsh Nagar, Dhurwa where the new Jharkhand high court building has started functioning, staged a demonstration on Wednesday demanding employment in the court. The group, mostly women, claimed that their lands were acquired to construct the building of the court and that they were assured that they would be given jobs after completion of the building. The protestors said that they worked as labourers during the construction of the high court and are now waiting for their employment.
