How the mastermind acted normal to avoid suspicion
Manjinder Singh Mani
LUDHIANA: In his four years at CMS, Manjinder Singh Mani did nothing unusual as an employee. Even after the heist, he came to office regularly and even accompanied other employees to a gurdwara to pray for the case to get solved soon.
The DCP (investigation) said, "We had a clue that either a present or a former employee of the company was involved. But finding one from over 100 current staff and many former employees was not easy. According to information, Mandeep Kaur is a complainant in a case registered at Dehlon police station, but it is yet to be verified."
Mandeep would introduce herself as an advocate to many people, the officer added.
Another employee said after the robbery, Manjinder had told them that he was soon going to buy a car for himself. But they did not find it suspicious then.
