CSJMU offers PhD in many subjects

KANPUR: Chatrapati Sahuji Maharaj University is giving students an opportunity to pursue PhD in wide array of subjects. Students can pursue PhD in subjects such as History, Commerce among others. Students can also choose a supervisor as per their career orientation. University’s dehn research and development, Dr Anuradha Kalani said that PhD supervisors are to be allotted 77 students in Hindi, 51 in Geography, 36 in History and 49 in Commerce from next month. The researchers shall be provided platforms to gain scholarships throughout the country, she added.
Dr. Kalani said that varsity is providing all its scholars with latest tools, publications, academic tools and online resources. A database is being created in the university to enable the scholars to remain at par with the developments in their field taking place across universities and institutions. There shall also be workshops for supervisors.
A meeting chaired by Dr. Kalani was organized by the university to ensure that the scholars do not face any troubles regarding scholarship. Dr. Kalani said that in the next phase, the problems of the scholars studying in the colleges will be resolved.
