Last month, through the TENAA listing a new leak confirmed that Vivo is working on a new X90 series named the Vivo X90S. In April this year, the Vivo X90 series was officially announced in the Indiana market and comes in three lineups, while the new Vivo X90S is expected to arrive as the fourth smartphone in the flagship X90 series.
As we are anticipating the official launch date of the Vivo X90S, a recent tweet from tipster Abhishek Yadav, just confirmed that the smartphone will be launching next month in China. According to the popular reliable tipster, the smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chip and will be launched alongside the Vivo V2 Chip and WiFi 7.
Aside from the processors and Wifi connectivity, the tipster did not reveal any other details about the upcoming smartphone. However, previously the TENAA listing rendered some expected specifications and design of the Vivo X90S. Now, let us take a look at that.
Vivo X90S Expected Specs
As per the TENAA listing, the Vivo X90S is expected to sport a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2,800 x 1,280 pixels and also feature an octa-core SoC with a peak clock speed of 3.2GHz. Unlike the exciting Vivo X90 series, the certification website affirmed that the new series will have up to 16GB of RAM along with up to 1TB of inbuilt storage.
Vivo X90S Design
Coming to the design, the Vivo X90S is said to have a circular rear camera module. It is depicted to have a sizable, protruding camera module that houses a triple back camera system. The top right corner of the camera module is where the LED flash and the Zeiss logo are positioned. The phone’s curved display on the front has a hole-punch cutout in the center at the top. On the right side of the phone are the volume and power buttons.
Vivo X90S Camera and Battery Capacity
In terms of the optical, a 50-megapixel main camera sensor will be part of the back camera arrangement. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 12-megapixel portrait sensor with a 2x optical zoom will be used in conjunction with it. The 32-megapixel front camera will be housed in the hole-punch notch at the top of the display. The battery within the gadget will be a 2,345mAh dual-cell battery with a combined rated capacity of 4,690mAh.
