Hyundai has released the first official images of theĀ Exter's interior, and yes, it looks a lot like the Grand i10 NIOS and Aura.
The Hyundai Exter features an all-black dashboard with a 3D pattern on the top half. It houses an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre and physical buttons on either side. The car comes with a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster.
Hyundai has also revealed some of the notable features of the upcoming Exter. The sub-4 meter SUV will get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, in-built navigation, a sunroof, automatic climate control, and connected car tech with voice commands, as well as over-the-air updates.
Powering the Exter will be the 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that can also be found in the Grand i10 NIOS and Aura. The engine will be paired with a 5-speed manual and AMT. The Exter will also be offered with a factory-fitted CNG kit.
The Hyundai Exter will rival the Tata Punch and Citroen C3. While bookings are already open, prices will be announced next month.
