Minnesota Hasn’t Shifted Nearly as Much as Florida

Though Minnesotans are heading to the Sunshine state in droves.

As a Minnesotan, I appreciate William Galston’s “Florida Turns Right, Minnesota Turns Left” (Politics & Ideas, June 7). His major miss, however, is in the magnitude of the change. In Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis won nearly 60% of the vote and Republicans won the House by a margin of 85 seats to 35 seats, and the Senate by a margin of 28 to 12. This is a clear mandate for Republican policies.
