Share price of Colgate-Palmolive rises as Nifty weakens

Shares of Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. gained 0.54 per cent to Rs 1656.45 in Thursday's trade as of 11:43AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 1662.0 and low of Rs 1645.35 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 61.0 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 11:43AM shares and turnover at Rs 0.61 crore around that time.

The stock of Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 1713.0 and Rs 1434.6, respectively.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 1370.98 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2023, up 5.32 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 1301.68 crore and up 4.64 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1310.13 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 316.22 crore, down 2.27 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
