Prestige Estates Projects(down 2.59 per cent), SOBHA(down 1.4 per cent), DLF(down 0.5 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers(down 0.37 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.32 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.53 per cent at 524.9 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 18.6 points at 18737.3, while the BSE Sensex was down 110.22 points at 63118.29.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 25 were trading in the green, while 25 were in the red.
Shares of Reliance Power, Suzlon Energy, Vodafone Idea, Zomato and IDFC First Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of GKW Ltd, Essar Shipping, Chembond Chem, Poly Medicure and Cords Cable Ind hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Rachana Infrastructu, Kore Digital, GHCL Textiles, Sintex Plastics Tech and Infollion Research hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
