Party committed to introducing UCC in country, says Chaudhary
Varanasi: Underlining that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fulfilled all the promises it had made to the people, party’s state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary said “the BJP was committed to introducing uniform civil code in the country”. He further said that no infiltrator would be allowed to stay in the country while refugees will be given shelter.
Chaudhary also asked the partymen to gear up preparations for improving performance in the state in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls to ensure that if the party faces loss in some other state, it is compensated in UP.
“In our 1987 manifesto, we had promised to make the country an atomic power, and in 1988 we promised to construct a grand temple of Lord Ram at Ram Janmabhoomi. All these promises were fulfilled, and before the 2024 LS polls idols of Lord Ram Lalla will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple in Ayodhya,” he said while addressing a meeting of the party and its frontal units in Varanasi on Tuesday evening.
“We are committed to introducing a common civil code and efforts are being made in this direction,” said Chaudhary, adding, “Refugees will be given citizenship while infiltrators would be ousted from the country.”
