OPINION:
The Democrats and their Justice Department puppets are playing a dangerous game that will backfire on them (“The Trump indictment and our two-tier system of justice,” Web, June 12). As they continue their obvious witch hunt of former President Donald Trump, they turn a blind eye when the laws are broken by fellow Democrats Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. Selective justice is nothing more than tyranny.
Every human being makes mistakes and when those mistakes are criminal, they can be prosecuted for them. But in this case, President Biden is actively persecuting and prosecuting his primary political challenger to prevent the man from running against him — instead of letting the American people decide who will lead. This is deeply contrary to democratic principles.
At a time when divided America has so many domestic problems and we are on the precipice of World War III with Russia, this game will not end well for the political left. More than half the country is losing faith in this biased, third-world “justice” system and the Democrats’ myopic, crazed obsession with Donald Trump.
