Gujarat’s Commissioner of Relief Alok Pandey addressed a Press Conference in Gandhinagar on June 13. While addressing the media persons, he informed that 21,000 people have been shifted. Furthermore, he added that the main aim to shift people from low-lying areas to safe shelter houses. Alok Pandey said, “As per the inputs, the cyclone will approach Kutch on June 15 and 16. Landfall will occur on the evening of June 15. At this time, heavy rains have been predicted. Our target is to shift people from low-lying areas to safe shelter houses. Around 21000 people have been shifted.”
