ED summons to bizman in land scam case

Ranchi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued summons to businessman Bishnu Agrawal to appear for questioning on June 21 in connection with the Ranchi land scam case.
The ED is likely to question Agrawal on his alleged involvement in illegal land transactions.
It may be stated here that the ED has alleged that the deputy commissioner of Ranchi, Chhavi Ranjan, had on quid pro quo basis verbally ordered for registration of one acre of disputed property on Chesire home road in the name of Agrawal’s wife Anushree. The ED had summoned Agrawal for questioning in connection with the case on May 8 but the latter sought time on medical grounds.
