Police-lawyer nexus banner in court premises

KALYAN: A banner put up inside court premises by Bar Association in Kalyan has become a matter of discussion among many in judiciary and government agencies.
The lawyer's body alleges that the police or government officers recommend their selected lawyers to the accused and other litigants.
The banner reminds people that the accused/litigants are allowed to choose a lawyer of their choice under Article 22 (1) of the Constitution.
