Highlights of President Murmu's state visit to Serbia; First visit by an Indian President to Serbia

President Droupadi Murmu successfully concluded her two-nation visits to Suriname and Serbia on June 09. President Murmu visited Serbia from June 7 to 9. This was the first-ever state visit of either Head of State between the two countries. During the visit, President Murmu stressed upon the unique relationship between India and Serbia dating back to the Nonaligned movement. She also highlighted that India is on the way to becoming the third-largest economy in the world before the end of this decade.
