Cyclone Biparjoy continues to intensify; Mumbai’s Marine Drive witnesses high tides

As Cyclone Biparjoy continues to intensify, high tides were witnessed at Mumbai’s Marine Drive on June 14. Cyclone Biparjoy is expected to make landfall on the coast of Saurashtra-Kutch on June 15. As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Cyclone Biparjoy will hit Gujarat’s coast as a ‘very severe cyclonic storm’.
